Dr. Todman graduated from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine where he earned a commendation in investigative scholarship for his research in childhood obesity. He completed his general pediatrics residency in New York, and is a board certified pediatrician. He received his pediatric cardiology subspecialty training at the James Whitcomb Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and is a board certified pediatric cardiologist. Dr. Todman has special expertise in the diagnosis and management of prenatal heart disease and arrhythmias as well as non-invasive imaging. He was awarded the Clarance Webb Award for outstanding clinical instructor by the LSU school of medicine class of 2016, and has won the Robert Jackson teaching award for his teaching in the LSU department of pediatrics. He was most recently inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2018.  Dr. Todman lectures nationally and has numerous publications in his field. 

Aside from treating patients and training medical students, residents, and fellows, he is a Master of Divinity candidate at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
